SAN ANTONIO, Texas. The San Antonio Blues Society hosts the 12 Step Fundamentals Workshop at Midtown Meetup Neighborhood Hangout, 801 W Russell Pl, from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17, and again on Tuesday, Dec. 15.
The workshop is a guitar session that combines fundamentals with opportunities for musicians at different skill levels to play together. It is the rare music class that ends with a jam rather than a quiz, and the blues is a forgiving teacher: three chords, a steady groove and room to listen.
Bring a guitar and a willingness to learn in company. RSVP is free on Eventbrite.
Midtown Meetup is at 801 W Russell Pl, San Antonio, TX 78212. Event details and the full calendar are at https://midtownmeetupneighborhoodhangout.com/events/, and RSVPs are at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/12-step-fundamentals-workshop-tickets-2003746803629.
